Objective

Win the Game

Be the first player to collect 3 complete property setsand you win! Each property card shows how many cards you need to complete that colour set.

Step One

Setup

Before the game begins, get everything ready:

• Shuffle all cards thoroughly.
• Deal 5 cardsto each player.
• Place the remaining cards face down in the centre — this is the draw pile.
• Keep your cards hidden from other players at all times.

Step Two

On Your Turn

Each turn has two parts — draw, then play:

• Draw 2 cardsfrom the draw pile and add them to your hand.
• Play up to 3 cardsfrom your hand. You may play fewer if you choose.

There are four types of cards in Mulodi Getaways. Each plays differently:

Step Four

Collecting Rent

Play a Rent Cardto charge other players for properties you own and have played down. The more cards in your set — and the higher the activity card — the more you collect.

• Rent cards specify which colour sets they apply to.
• Adding an activity card to a property increases its rent value.
• Opponents must pay from their bank pile.

Step Five

Completing Sets

Each colour group requires a specific number of property cards to complete. Check the card to see how many you need. Once complete, that set is locked and counts toward your win condition.

• 2-card sets: e.g. Coco Beach (blue), UTB/UHOA (purple)
• 3-card sets: e.g. Protea, Zara, Arcadia (orange)
• 4-card sets: e.g. Murchison, Sambiya, Rwakobo, Bwindi (green)
